Delta Airlines is our airline of choice out of Daytona Beach especially
since they fly 95% of the flights into and out of Daytona Beach International.
Continental Airlines
Continental offers air service to Daytona Beach.
There are certain times of the year that special events make it nearly
impossible to get reservations into and out of Daytona Beach International
Airport. For your convenience we list here the 4 other major airports within
fairly short driving distance of Daytona Beach.
Jacksonville International Airport
If you are going to fly into or out of Jacksonville, keep in mind that the
airport is on the northside of the city and therefore it would be best to work
your flight schedule around rush hour traffic through the city.
Like Daytona Beach, Melbourne International is primarily served by Delta
Airlines. Melbourne is 90 miles south of Daytona Beach and might be a good
choice if flights at Daytona Beach are booked. If a convenient flight schedule
is available, we would suggest you use Melbourne since it is an easy drive to
and from Daytona Beach.
Orlando International Airport Orlando International Airport is chosen many
times due to the fares being less expensive. However, the drive to and from
Daytona Beach can be the least convenient of the four airports we list here.
Orlando/Sandford International has a limited number of scheduled flights with
PanAm. If you are flying to and from an airport that PanAm serves, OSI would
offer fairly convenient and easy drive to and from Daytona Beach.
