Addie Lou Havner "Lou", (84) of Daytona Beach Shores, passed away December 14, 2009.

Born in Roxboro, North Carolina May 17, 1925 and graduating from Bahama High School in Roxboro, Lou Havner moved to this area in 1958 from Concord, North Carolina.

She was an auditor for the Howard Johnson’s Hotel chain of Central Florida. Mrs. Havner was a master seamstress who loved to sew. Her second passion was gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Havner, Sr. in 1970 and their son Anthony in March of 1993.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheila Sharpe of Ormond Beach, Florida and her son Joseph Jr. (Dyanne)of Lutz, Florida, along with four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Hillside Cemetery in Ormond Beach.
