Joseph Anthony Rokovich, "Joe" 81, of Daytona Beach, entered into rest Monday, April 12, 2010. Joe was born in New York City on May 25, 1928 and later served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Rokovich worked as a truck driver for New York Builders Supply Company. After retiring, he and his wife Catherine moved to this area in 1992. He is survived by his wife, of 53 years, Catherine, Sister-in-Law, Patricia Porta, Brother-in-Law, Vincent Faulkner and 29 nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends at Haigh-Black Funeral Home, located at 167 Vining Court in Ormond Beach Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM and Thursday afternoon from 2:00 until 4:00 PM. The funeral service, will be celebrated by Rev. Richard Grasso at the funeral home on Friday, April 16
th
at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
