Funeral service for Louis Unatin, 99, of Daytona Beach who passed away Tuesday June 1, 2010 will be 3:30 p.m. today (Thursday) at Temple Beth-El in Ormond Beach.  Interment will follow at Mt. Sinai Cemetery.

Mr. Unatin was born August 10, 1910 in Probrabiche, Ukraine.  He was a business entrepreneur who formed and operated Nova Property Management while developing income properties in Ormond Beach and Port Orange.  He also owned various retail businessess.  Before moving to here in 1950 from Pittsburgh PA, he owned the Squirt Bottling Company.   Mr. Unatin was a member and the oldest living past president of Temple Beth-El and The Jewish Federation of Volusia and Flagler Counties. 

He is survived by his wife Ann; two sons, Steven Unatin, Daytona Beach and Dr. Jerome Unatin, Los Angeles; two daughters, Ava Zandi and Linda Blickman both of Philadelphia; eleven grandchildren, Sarah Unatin, Jordan Unatin, Tanya Painter, Diane Bobek, Dana Kohler, Amy Darvin, William Zandi, Anna Zandi, Lilly Zandi, Nelson Blickman and Jacquelyn Blickman; nine great grandchildren, Emile, Mikah, Hannah, Lauren, Adam Rachael, Matthew, Ariel and Andrew.
