Beverly Hadassah Saffran Jacobs, 76, a teacher with Flagler County Schools, died Wednesday night in Orlando after a strong battle against cancer.  Mrs. Jacobs, was born December 16, 1933 in New York City and moved here from Norwalk, Connecticut in 1968. Beverly worked at many positions in the New York City area and previously taught pre-school at Temple Israel in Daytona Beach.  A 1983 graduate of Bethune Cookman College with a degree in Learning Disabilities, Beverly was a dedicated teacher in the area of Exceptional Student Education.  She was a member of Temple Beth-El in Ormond Beach. Survivors include her son, Glen Jacobs and wife Lori (Palm Coast), son, Jordan Jacobs and wife Tracey (Orlando); grandchildren, Tyler, Cameron, Zachary, Cassandra, and loving family members across the country.
